Bluegrass
legend Curly Seckler is a veteran of 73
years in the music business. He is best known for his tenor
singing with Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs & the Foggy
Mountain Boys during their most productive years of the
1950s and early '60s. Seckler will team with The Steep
Canyon Rangers for upcoming concert dates. The Rangers

NOTE: In 1954, WSVS radio in Crewe
- Virginia's "Southside Voice of Service" - was the home base
for Curly Seckler while he was a member of Flatt &
Scruggs' Foggy Mountain Boys. Jody Rainwater, who had worked
with Curly in the Foggy Mountain Boys in 1950, was a disc
jockey on WSVS while the band was there. On October 25, Curly
and Jody will be reunited and will share stories from their
legendary careers in music!
